Alelia Ariola reminds us to continue the fight for systemic change
Aleilia Ariola is a painter, illustrator, graphic designer and a photographer at age 31. Aleilia got her degree of AB Communication in Arts from DLSU-Dasmarinas.
Aleli’s painting “Patuloy na sisigaw at titindig para sa Kalayaang Pandaigdig” is about fearless women pursuing freedom for people and society. It depicts her admiration of elderly women, who are steadfast and adamant in fighting for the rights of the oppressed. Women’s strength comes from grief and cries of many.
Her artworks are mostly of women, about women. Aleilia paints women displaying courage, altruism, and love and confidence in herself as a woman. Aleli’s inspirations are everyday life and childhood memories.
